Refuse Collection:

The refuse collected by route trucks is processed in a Material Recovery Facility.
The Blue Bag Recycling Program pre-separates recyclables to maximize recovery efforts.

How can you help?

• Place recyclables in your provided Blue Bags (see list of accepted items)
• Bundle news papers, magazines & cardboard
• Washing Recyclables reduces contamination
• Bring Household Hazardous and/or Universal waste to one of the Permanent Hazardous Waste Collection Centers provided by El Dorado County Environmental Management, which also provides several temporary events at remote locations.
